Tug Boats in Belfast Bay Oil by Mary Hughes

16" x 20" Oil on Canvas "Tug Boats"

For anyone who's been following the progress of this painting you might notice some changes. I wasn't happy with the shorline, trees and buildings so I decided to change it up. I've created a cloud filled sky. It's a hazy day with the sky and water seemlessly meeting. I like the openess of the background. It brings the focus where it needs to be, on the tug boats.

These two tugs are moored in Belfast Bay.
