When I walked through the bakery department in our local grocery store one day this little tart called out to me, "Wouldn't you like to paint me?" and the answer was a definite "YES". Having previously lived in an area with a very modest grocery store something like this really stood out to me. It was so pretty. I was inspired and did my best to get it home unblemished.
I had the most fun painting the blueberries. The crust on the other hand fought me all the way.
I was so taken with the little tart I did two versions of it. This is the second version.
E-mail me if you'd like to purchase. Thank you!

Mary, this is incredible! It looks like you can just pick it right up off the canvas. Yummy!
Beautiful work, and it looks delicious! I might have to stray from my Jenny Craig food today and go buy a tart!
