This Cockatiel pair (Poppy and Petunia) are actually brother and sister. The male is the one on the right. They share their days together playing, eating, squabbling every so often, preening each other and chatting. They are best buddies and show each other the sweetest affection. I love to paint their portraits in the different ways they interact.

This is beautiful! You caught their sweet personalities! I have a pair of yellow cockatiels, Sunshine and Gracie. Really, this is a wonderful portrait of the cockatiels interacting.

Mary, these birds are gorgeous with such character, but what really captures my attention is how you captured light in the blue and green rings and on the faces of the birds.
