SkyWatch

This photo was taken a few weeks ago when the trees were in full color. The sky that day had very thin but textured clouds that diffused the sun in a very interesting way. It made photography a little challenging.

Be sure and check out the sky from the vantage point of others around the world by clicking on the emblem below! Happy SkyWatch Friday!!

Hi, Mary! Love your paintings, especially the green apple and towel. I can't purchase anything right now (la sigh) but hope to after the first of the year.

The SWF photo is really interesting, the diffuse area looks to me like we're looking up through water to the sky.

i think it's beautiful with that opening in the sky.

Wonderful phot. With the sun shining through the clouds like that it makes the clouds look paper thin.

The sun would not be denied that day. In spite of the clouds, it continued to shine through.

Oh yes, I spent some time out in the country in just such days doing some fall leafing!
