Intermission

I've been away from the blog for a few days with the expectation of posting when my latest painting was finished but it's being a bugger. Drying time between layering is the main holdup and I just hope it's worth it. I've named it "Crispy Frymix" and it's a realistic Far Side. That's all I'll say until the unveiling.

Today is the first day of clouds for some time. Loving it. I hope it rains like crazy. We need it and I'm a rain person. Little thunder, lightning, downpours. Neato!!

Your work with critters is phenomenal. These are so hard to do, I stay away from them as a result. My hat is off to you. Excellent job.

You got your wish - it DID rain like crazy, didn't it!? At least on THIS side of the state it did. Thunder and lightening and puddles, oh my!

And yes, Crispy was WELL worth the wait. He's outstandingly GORGEOUS!
